Today, we have some exciting financial and tax planning, at least at the onset. Fast forward a number of years and people find themselves confused without clarity on where the exit might be. Picking two popular financial programs (Individual Pension Plans and Insurance Loan Facilities), Ian will focus during this talk on exit planning.
When and how should a client consider terminating these financial programs? Is death the only option? How would Houdini approach this? The topic will provide attendees with a unique perspective, that will assist them in guiding their clients towards a fruitful financial planning exit.
Ian is a principle and lead portfolio manager at Qube here in Edmonton. Qube is an independent wealth management firm offering fee-based investment management. Ian has authored and taught in the PD program of our institute, published a tax and compensation book with Carswell and has been a guest speaker at a number of our events in past years.
